I am finding Russian flags to be a bit of a challenge. For line infanty, is there anyway to use just one or two national flags rather than deal with all the regimentals? I would rather have a bit of a generic approach that might suit different eras and units for gaming purposes. I know this sounds a bit like heresy, but I want to get gamingwith these guys and feel like the years are slipping by! Also, are the Russian flags really large or is it my imagination? Bruce

I use the 1803 line infantry pattern (which include grenadier regiments) from the warflag site. Re-size and print on sticky labels to help fixing on the figures. These provide some variety but are generic to recruitment regions so the same flag can cover a number of regiments. They were also still largely in use in 1812 and also 1813.
As for size I don't have them too large, but just large enough to see some detail. A decent ink jet will do.
Hope that helps a little!
