Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can get an open carriage for Massena at Wagram! 6mm of course! Looking something like this...

I think the carriage may be an Irregular Miniatures 18th C generals coach with H&R horses.

Hi, no , nothing from Irregular here. The base/chassis of the carriage is a part of an Heroics and Ros cart. I had sculpted the rest : the upper part of Napoleon's coach called "Dormeuse". I had used the same H&R parts ("chassis" and horses) for the 18C British Royal Artillery chariot , and also sculpted the upper part of the RA chariot (a small pic here : vendheaume.fighters.pagesperso-orange.fr/sywenmy.html). Best Regards,

Tim, sorry , it seems i have missed the part of the site where new members introduce themselves and...OK my apologies for that. In a few words : I have painted ...hundreds of 6mm figs (for 20 years) , I know how to paint them, how to convert them and even how to sculpt them. The 6mm collection covers all periods (from Ancients to Modern) , but the greatest groups of little fellows can be found in SYW, Napoleonics and 1859-1870 periods. This said I have also painted 10mm (LOTR) some 25mm (Fantasy/LOTR), some 15mm (WWI)... However, my latest experiment is ...painting flats (using oils of course) which for a 6mm dedicated painter represents a very interesting challenge. Best Regards,

Hi otherwarrior. Your conversion looks great. Certainly fooled me :-) Looks like you may have a commission for Massena's open carriage! :-)
