Hello everyone! I am painting Davout's III Corps during 1809 and whenever I paint I like to have my uniform material out to make sure I don't make mistakes even with 6mm uniforms! Well since I have taken some time off from painting I decided to edit Alexis Cabaret uniforms plates and create 1809 uniforms. His work is just amazing and I can't imagine the amount of time it took him to create his site centjours.mont-saint-jean.com/ 1eme Chasseur a cheval commanded by Colonel Meda. I tried to use a period painting of him to create his unique uniform and shako. 1e Squadron with elite company 2e&3e Squadrons I am working on all the 3rd Corps and I have almost all the uniforms details on each regiment. Michael
What a find and thank you for sharing the information here. I'll certainly be using the plates to help me with my 1809 French.
Regards Mike

The cent-jours site is simply terrific . Probably the best resource available for 1815 (all armies) but good for a few years before that especially for the french. I can't recommend it too highly and used it day in day out for my big Waterloo project.
