There is not a code for Spanish Militia that I'm aware of. I have a painted unit of Spanish Line in the All other Nations folder in the Gallery on this forum. This is made up of SPN1C SPN2C and SPN4A codes. Other infantry codes in the Adler catalog are made up from figures that are from other nations which with a decent paint job will do the job. Perhaps this where the confusion comes from?

Ah I see, re light infantry these are not in the "Tarleton-style" helmet but in the GB stovepipe shako. I remember a conversation where Leon discussed a possibility of designing some new Spanish but I'm not sure where he is with this.

Baccus do light infantry in Tarleton if you need this for your army, they also do Spanish in round-hat.

I had a look at the Adler website and it is a bit confusing. Militia are not listed in the products but are mentioned in the Spanish divisional pack. I also looked up the Provincial Militia uniform and it looks the same as the line regiments in bicorne hat.

Yep Spanish uniforms are a bit of a nightmare for instance you could use French shako figs. to add variety. As Tim said you could paint the bicorne figs. in brown for militia. Also I use the wurtemberg mounted officers in bicorne for mounted Officers.

In 1808 the Spanish had both provincial and urban milita. The uniform of the provincial militia was like the line but white with red facings and, except for the grenadiers, bicorne hat. Even the urban milita had the same style of uniform but the colour varied from town to town.
As the war progressed, the spanish uniforms became less uniform and the militia uniforms even less so.

It Can 'be that I have given the British infantry in its place? Comuque six friendly Thanks again Indeed the figures will be Brits in stovepipe. The British supplied thousands of uniforms for the Spanish armies ( dyed blue as a rule). There are more variations of Spanish millitia/regional army uniform than you count and they change with each new book published. Easier if you have a query just to email me direct much faster as rarely on forums. Adler Miniatures
