Hi is anyone using these for 6mm?
I have 'The Iron Duke' from Computer Strategies and am planning to use them for my Waterloo project. Have used them briefly for 15mm and was impressed. I don't have the mental/memory capacity for rulebooks. I also have the WW2 one 'Iron Tigers' but again haven't used in earnest
They are very much army/grand tactical based which IMHO makes them ideal for 6mm
I'm using army lists & troop quality info from 'Napoleon's Battles' rules. Need to type about 150 units into the software...
Regards,
M

I have got Iron Duke. Iam planning to use it as a basis for a solo campaign. Not had time to investigate it properly yet and typing all the units in seems a bit daunting Tim

Would again be interested in the results.
Used some in the dark distant past but 2 equal quality and size units charging into each other, the first to be typed in won :-(

Thanks for the replies, if there are possible bugs maybe I'll try a small battle with a few units first before committing!
Will report back

Thanks for the replies, if there are possible bugs maybe I'll try a small battle with a few units first before committing! Will report back Regards, M I have used carnage & glory in particular "wars of Frederick the great" and the acw set www.carnageandgloryii.com/ . I have also used computer strategies "rally once more" and "The great captains computerstrategies.bigpondhosting.com/Of the two computer strategy is more "complete" as it already contains a campaign module. However C&G is way easier to set up and maintain. C&G also promise a campaign module later this year. Both systems give very good games and inputs are at a minimum with both systems. Remember these are computer assists not computer games. They are brilliant at remembering all those little details about units and the morale and physical condition of each unit however you do need to understand the rules and know the ranges and movement rates. Both have excellent support systems through their yahoo groups and are continually being updated with new content. The authors also readily give assistance in setting up and answering background questions and complex encounters that can arise. I can say both are easy to play and give a lot of enjoyment particularly for solo players. You do however need to make a large input in setting up , labelling and understanding the systems. I have found very few bugs in either system. (I can't actually remember any at all TBH)

Thanks Curlerman, I'm half way through labelling and setting up now and your feedback is encouraging. Yes agree on support, Clinton of CS added some fortification rules to Iron Tigers for me and was very helpful generally
