Hi all what's the best best sealant for scenics to stop flock and scatter droping of I believe it's a pva spray or Matt varnish is there a pre made spray or is it mix spray and clean ?

Pva works but I can never get it to spray propery so I usually use Citadel satin varnish to make it stick. I use this on all scenics and buildings. It comes out matt on rough surfaces anyway so no worries about shine.

Thanks Tim I was looking at the army painter anti shine varnish as I like there stuff, I wasn't sure how pva would work in a spray

You might even get away with cheapy hair spray if you put enough on. Use the extra strong hold stuff and preferably non perfumed unless of course you want to have your setup smelling like a bordello Tim

I would suggest a mixture of lavender, rose and lemon.

Spray fixative - the kind artists use to seal charcoal/pencil drawings - dries invisible, not tacky and you get a nice high while you're doing it too!

I have a container of white glue and water. 50/50 mix. I dip my trees into the mix, let the mix drain off then place on parchment paper for several days to dry. After that, I don't have any problems.
