Adler product codes can be pretty hard to understand I'm not sure to really understand what "BR" Blanket Roll means. "BR" figures are sculpted with their rolled-up greatcoat tied atop their backpacks ? Can any one show me photos for 2 french lines with or without BR ? When will you use one or other ?
Thks

I think you got it right, yes, at least that's how I understood it. A confirmation by a savvier user would be welcome, though.

All the normal French ranges have the blanket roll on top of the back pack. I always assumed that the BR figures had it across the body. Not seen any so cannot confirm that and I may be totally wrong. Drop Leon an email is your best option to clarify.

I think you are right with the blanket across the body....
I've totally screwed up and ordered/received two french divisions with blanket roll that i don't want...
I will buy 2 new divisions with regular backpack, and one with raincoat, and i will mix them together for the "1815 effect" i looking for.

You could always use them to differentiate between different troop quality IE conscript, regular and veteran battalions.... figures are never wasted, you can never have enough (you might not live long enough to paint them all but you can never have enough!!

Thks Hello there, Well very tricky trying to use terms other than the standard ones. 'Blanket roll' means a rolled greatcoat or blanket worn across the chest just as say '1810 shako' means the shako set by regulations made in 1810. Not sure what other terms to use really, sorry if they are confusing. L
