Just finished and blogged Frichermont Château (NAP10 £7.00) Price is for the main building, not sure how much Mike would charge for the extras. I copied the one on Leven's website done by Craig Armstrong which is excellent. Bit of atmosphere for you and now back to colour I guess you can go to close, looks better at arms length LOL I really love the internal detail Mike has come up with due to a lack of information, great work Mike! As always a great amount of detail by Mike means we can have a lot of fun Ian

Splendid Ian! What extra buildings are needed for the whole setup and where did you get that rather nice herringbone pattern base??

Hi guys, I've just about stopped blushing at Ian's comments ... thanks Ian, nice to be appreciated. The model Ian has done consists of the chateau itself (2 pieces), the barn is my FAR19 Tithe Barn, the farmhouse, outbuilding and gate are from MSJ, and I've just done a set of walls to suit. Don't have a stock yet but can cast them up at any time.

I really like the model too but took a different direction. I have a blog article drafted but waiting to do something special for my 100th post so still in draft for a while, but here is a sneak preview Steve

Lovely work as always Ian. That patterned stone courtyard is really good looking.
I picked up the initial chateau offer and have been pondering a bit about what to do. Trust the forum to provide some creative insight! Steve, do I detect the barn from La Haye Sainte there? looking forward to your post! Bruce

It's excellent, love your version and the idea to cut down the L shaped barn. You sir are the Bomb Ian

Ian
I hope you think it is more stunning - certainly bigger and took way more effort. Not really close to the theme of the forum but for members I have put a thread in the Lounge giving a link to my Blog and the 100th post
Steve
PS I will publish my post on Fichermont in the morning after giving the 100th post some time on the landign page
