I just bought a BBSA - Static Grass Applicator from Baccus.
This may be a stupid question, but how do you use it?
Thanx Keith

Hi Keith, It works on the puffer/static principle. The idea is that the static charge imparted to the grass by the action of puffing the bottle is enough to make the grass stand up on end. How to use it: Stick static grass in the bottle, puff it and hope for the best!! Give me a good mains powered electric version any day Hope that helps. Tim

Don't fill it to the gills or it's a lot slower. Also the further away the less concentrated the spread. I use it between 2 and 3 inches (ish)
Also the size of the hole you cut in the nozzle will effect spread.
Lastly, do it into a box to collect the mass that does not stick (quite a lot) and then you can reuse again.
I have had good results from it though it is fairly slow to use
Hope that helps
Cheers Ian

As a Health and Saftey issue, if you are using 1mm static grass, put a mask on, the bloody stuff flys everywhere!!. 2mm and longer not so bad (but I suppose you should still use one...cough...cough.) Tim
