Hi chaps, it's been a while since I last paid a visit here... many new members! Welcome to you all. I put in my vote. It's a NO! (create a seperate blackpowder forum. We are 6mm Napoleonics, pure thru & thru) I'm painting up some French Line Horse Artillery (for the latter part of the wars) and a little confused as to the uniforms of their gun teams. Am I right in thinking they are the same as the Foot gun teams? Regards

Hi Silent,
Yep same as the foot batteries teams. Using Adler figs which have a plume, I cut the plume off for foot teams but leave them on for horse just for a bit of variety and show (the horse artillery considered themselves superior to the foot plodders)

Hey thanks Ian.
You will see them shortly I'm sure.
One other thing; I'm also painting up Wurttemberg artillery and very confused about the colour of the guns themselves. I've seen them done in red, green, grey and brown (un-painted?).
Any advice?

Thanks Richard, that does help.
I'll do the guns in a natural wood shade. I like that idea best.
Soooo jealous of your painting skills. Your horses are beautiful for a start. And I love those commanders... with their little stripey sashes! I'd struggle doing all that in 25mm!
