Richard asked me to put some in situ piccies up of the stuff that will be available shortly. The Barricades (this is the 30mm one). " You English pigs can come up this street if you wish but I would not recommend it!"
The Barrels
" Manuel, only sell the cheap red to the French bastardos!"
Quick review: Nicely detailed castings, good deep detailing therefore easy to paint. Tim

Well I do play lots of things and I'm always open to more. Here's a list of what comes to mind first.
6mm ACW currently really liking Altar of Freedom. Really gives the feel of large scale battles of the period 6mm Napoleonic Peninsula using March Attack. Nice straight forward rules that give period feel. As I get older I like rules to be simpler. It's the memory loss. 6mm WWII using House Rules by a friend. Again nice and simple rules for nice and simple minds. 15mm WWII about to have a go at Battlegroup Kursk. Looking forward to it. 28mm AWI Black Powder. Like this a lot more since the supplement came out. Gives a more period feel in subtle ways. 28mm WWII have been using Bolt Action but had a few games of Chain of Command which gives a very different game to Bolt Action and really makes you think before every move. 28mm Border Reivers. Have played round with a few rules. Not entirely happy yet. 1/1250 Sails of Glory which you could argue is between a war-game and a boardgames, but I really like it and it's a real laugh trying to get the ships to do what you want. I'm not very good at the seeing ahead on the cards and so tend to find myself with fresh air as a target while being raked by the ship I had in my sights.
Just started to put together a 6mm French and Russo Prussian armies for Blucher. Really liking the rules. I suppose people will think oh he'll be doing Waterloo and I did think about it, but having given it some thought I'm going to do 1814 in France. I think it will make for good sized campaign not too big so collectible reasonably fast with some famous formations taking part. That's what the barrels and barricades are for amongst other things. I'm going to put some villages and towns together using the village buildings from the 100 Days range and I will use the less famous farms and I'm thinking about using part of Ligny Chateau to make a good sized town. I already own a huge City which lines a table edge which could be Paris if the Campaign goes that way.
Then there's the lead mountain which contains 10mm WWII North Africa, 28mm Medieval Skirmish and 20mm ECW. All the above I have an hand in when we play. There's dozens of other games put on by friends which from ancients right up to a Rhodesia game a couple of months ago.
What are you contemplating doing?

Well I'm going for eliments of the 100 days using march attack but I'm a long way of having any firm of an army as yet. Would love to see that city some time

Richard,
I did a Quatre Bras scenario last year for convention games. I then got the idea of doing Ligny this year. After painting all the Prussian and Anglo-Allies for the two games, I had enough French already, I realized that I was very close to having everything for the 100 Days at hand. I've been working to finish up the Anglo-Allies I was missing. I should have them done before the Waterloo Anniversary.

I want to start with quatre bras then go from there, Ive decided on my basing, but want to try son metal bases after seeing Tims work it looks very good and storage would easier so might re-base what little I have painted,
