Thanks gents. I use wee bit of green ground sponge (same as used on the bases) for the foliage on the Austrian shakos and helmets.

I like the mix of colours of the horses, the extra effort really pays off

Great work! I am glad to see H & R stuff as it seems that the slightly larger figures from Adler and Bacchus are the go to figures in recent years. I started with H & R years ago and just got so invested in them that I could not bring myself to change and start over with the newer figures. Which is the only option as they do not combine well with the others as they are apparently not true 6mm. I think I do a decent enough job painting them, but you definitely put me to shame with your level of detail. A pleasure to view, nice to see others using H&R. Thanks for your posts.
PS Here in the states I get them at The Last Square in Wisconsin, a reliable supplier for us for a number of years. Bruce

Thanks Bruce. Good to know where to top up here in North America. I still have a large stock bought 20 yrs ago.

Very nice Stauffenberg. I too use H&R. I use Baccus guns though, and heroics for a smaller calibre.
