Hi Ian I won't be attending but it does sound very interesting , what rules will you be using in your demo? And if you get a chance would love to see some pics of the event glad you stoped by, Richard The rules are home brew, stolen bits of the Pollemos rules such as movement distance and used activation systems used in various other rules. Will try and post pics here when it's all over. It's really a warm up game for when we do Waterloo. We are looking at 19 by 6 foot table with every battalion, cavalry regiment and battery represented. we will play that game at home and blog it through at least my blog. The Prussians have about 24 battalions to go, the French 40 odd whilst the other allies have about 20. I am painting all the Prussians and half the French whilst Lee the other mad man is painting up some of the French and having the rest done for him (the cad) he is doing the terrain boards though. Hope to get that game started in May, well on target to get the figures done in time Ian

Would have loved to go but it's a bit of treck from this end of the country Tim It's even more of a trek from Toronto. I'd love to visit one day - I'll have to plan a visit to my parents when it's on so I can nip out and do so (I'm from just down the road in Rotherham originally). I'm sure Mrs the Lemming will enjoy a day with her in-laws while I enjoy myself there.

Phoned Pete at Baccus last to place an order and he mentioned the weekend went well. Makes it hard living at the bottom of the world, but one day when I'm visiting the oldies I'll get to a show. So did anyone take photo's? It would be great to have a look.

Phoned Pete at Baccus last to place an order and he mentioned the weekend went well. Makes it hard living at the bottom of the world, but one day when I'm visiting the oldies I'll get to a show. So did anyone take photo's? It would be great to have a look. Pete was bouncing from one foot to the other by the end of the day as it was a huge success. With the weather being so nice I expected less people to attend but it was busy all day right up to and beyond close. I only took a few pictures of my game as we spent the whole time talking on our display so no time to look round fully Ian

Next year we plan to set up the whole game as if the battle is raging with the Prussians attacking the flank.
Somehow we have to work out how to set it up in just two hours!!!!
