The 1st Division (with a light cav. brigade in support) deploy into the valley in battle formation to engage the enemy (when I have painted some ).

What a great picture, you get an opposing commanders view. Only a shame you couldn't condense it a little to get rid of the side panels. That backdrop is the mutts.

Thanks Richard. That's 1 out of 3 French divisions done. So another 2 infantry divisions and at least 1 more cavalry brigade to do for the French, ohhh and the corps artillery! About another 1500 figs or so I'm going to take a small break from figs and do some more buildings, I'll then get on and do a British division which should be a bit easier and quicker than the French. Excellent, that looks so much more impressive. (Not that I'm any David Bailey when it comes to photos.) It definitely gives you an idea of the scope of the period. Imagine trying to do that in 25mm -you would probably need a mega wide-angled lens to get everybody in.

That is why I love this figure scale.
An army (be it Battalion, Regiment, Division or Corp) actually looks like a formed body of troops and esp with well painted ones like these we can see enough of the figures to tell units types.

Well done, outstanding figures. Every gamers dream I believe. I look forward to see more trudging along the valley in the future.
