I have invested in some A4 Tuff Boxes by Tiger Stationary .I went for the 40mm deep boxes, they do a 20mm deep one but thought it would be a bit close for comfort on cavalry standard bearers and didn't want to bend them. Very pleased with them and under 4 quid a shot if you buy a dozen. I use metal bases so I just put some self adhesive magnetic strips in the bottom and hey presto they dont move about. I can get a whole infantry division (12 battalions) plus commanders and attached foot battery with it's caissons etc. in one of these..perfect! The picture is minus a brigade and division commander at the moment, they are on my workbench being painted. Tim

I have about thirty of a 15mm deep type for all my painted 6mm armies. A piece of bubble wrap (unpopped) over the top keeps them in place, but then again from cupboard to table in the same room is not really a travelling problem.

Hi, I use the foam trays from figures in comfort. I can get 5 of these in a 21 ltr really useful box. I move around alot so to protect the wee guys ive found these trays to be great. Steve

Looks ideal if you are travelling with them a lot. Mine live under the wargames table so don't need that much protection.
