As I mentioned in another thread I have finished the soon to be released Hougoumont set. Mike will be casting to order so it should not be too long till Mike offers them to the Perfect Six cast. I have added a couple of images here but way more on the blog so go clicky for extreme eye candy. I have to say that Mike excelled even for his own high standards, these are just great to work with. So what do you think?

Another fine piece of work, and we didn't have to wait too long to see it either. Thanks!

Really impressive model. One question - how did you make the flowers?

Really impressive model. One question - how did you make the flowers? Oh it's very difficult and time consuming....... or not LOL I just got standard tufts dipped them in neat PVA (put the PVA in a lolly stick or coffee stirrer and dab on the tufts spikes) then dip the stick ends in flocking powder. I bought mine from the works at 99p for six pots of different colours. You can get good deals on ebay for low priced or Amazon for some stupidly high priced. Then stick to the board. Simple and quite effective for 6mm Ian

Could you put up an Ebay link for the coloured flock please Ian? I been looking for ages for blue, red and yellow with no luck, in the end I dyed some sand and used that.

Tim Here you go, just typed in flocking powder, you want the type that looks like little strands. Use the zoom to look close on these to see what I mean shows up on the yellow best.
