I kid you notI've been a bit quiet lately because the butterfly struck again and I launched a new project. Corps level Napoleonics using a hybrid combo of "Altar of freedom" and "snappy Nappy". It all kicked off because the hair curlers I used back when to make my curler armies are now obsolete. Then via the interweb I discovered a guy experimenting with 6mm semi flat mdf figures. Hence the title "I kid you not". They have to be seen. you can read the full story and see pics on my blog at flownlegions.blogspot.com.es/2014/11/and-now-for-something-completely.htmlBob

Not bad at all Bob! They would certainly do for those huge battles you know you are not going to live long enough to paint all the metal figures you need for it Tim

I like the MDF figures, it gives me a sense of playing 'toy soldier' war-games of days gone buy.
Being in Western Australia, not a chance of getting to any shows, so I was wondering where I may might be able to purchase some, do you have the blokes contact details?
Like you I've got Alter of Freedom for my ACW games.
Regards
Mike

Regards Mike I must admit , Part of the appeal is that old school feel I get when handling the figures. the guy you want has a web site www.commission-figurines.co.uk/index.htmlHe is still in the process of preparing for retail so although his site has some photos they aren't yet available for general sale.
