As the title says , anyone knows where to get some ready printed russian flags in 15mm ? as I Think they look alright with my 6mm armies
I did paint some prussian flags long ago , but ready printed is what i would like atm . I bought some french flags long ago , cant remember from whom
Please let me know if anyone knows , I can have access to a colour printer sometimes , but not very often

Some here: Russian flagsAnd some more here : More Russian flagsUpside is they are all free, downside is you have to resize them to whatever scale you are using which is quite easy with a bit of experimentation. Adler Baccus also do Russian flags but in 6mm. Russian flags changed over the whole Napoleonic period and getting info on what unit was carrying what at any one time is difficult. My general rule is go for the oldest version unless you know a unit carried a newer version. It took a long time for the changes to filter down through the regiments. Also remember that if working under the 'Inspection' system of organisation the flagpole colour changes as well Have fun! Tim

about the 15mm , it was something i remember i read somewhere that one could use 15mm flags , as I have mostly made most flags myself and the austrian flags I have look fine and I Think they were from a 15mm sheet
Great that You responded as I was just about to order some flags , I will take a closer look again and please let me know the sizes on ypour flags , and if they are for sale etc

Russian napoleonic flags (142 x 142 cm) in 6mm (1:245) must be 5.8 x 5.8 mm. Russians will be on sale when I finish big mould for them, after I finish next 18mm mould.

I use the warflags suggested by Tim. I scale to 23% and give nice big flags but not too big. Almost all the flags on my blog are from here. For example see the gallery board for Prussians as I have a lot of examples there. Great thing is that you can make them as big or small as you want. I show how I use the flags in my basing post link

Nice figures and Basings. I also use very thin bases , I use ordinary coulored but a bit thicker paper I buy in Craft shops.
Yes I also finds if one makes the flag to scale its all looks too small , I like a bit bigger flags. Btns that never brought their flags to the battle is also very boring fellows : (
