Does any member know where I can get 1/300 scale barrels, sign post , ladders , buckets , chickens , and other objects of this ilk these are for my own dioramas and basing but I'm having trouble finding them or will I need to make them?

You are going to have to look at Z scale railway modelling stuff for that sort of thing Richard, not easy to find in the UK.

Did you check out baccus equipment range? They have cows, sheep, oxen, stack of cannon balls, etc.

Have you tried Irregular Miniatures?
I've bought a load of stuff from there in the past, I don't know about ladders though.

I was at Triples looking for much of the same thing but Irregular did not have any showing in their boxes so I am guessing not
I will also check out the Z gauge thanks

Just had a quick thought about the ladders. Have a look at the model ship manufacturers websites (Rod Langton for instance) for etched brass ratlines (thats the triangular rope ladders that run up the masts). Not sure how big they are but you could get a few ladders out of just one of them with some good sharp wire clippers.
