Friday evening found six of us convening for a 6mm multiplayer Volley & Bayonet game. Set during the early days of the 1813 Campaign the armies were deployed for battle. The Allies had a slight numeric advantage, but Napoleon had drawn on some of his reserves for an all out attack. The Allies expecting to be on the offensive were not well positioned for the dramatic battle that developed. You can find a description of the battle, that involved six corps, as well as a few photos here: volleyandbayonet.wordpress.com/2019/09/22/napoleons-revenge/

Enjoyed the write up Keith. Nice to see some Prussians. Aging Blucher indeed! Not too old to save Wellington in two more years! I am the same age! Er...I guess he was pretty old for the time.... But he certainly took it on the chin in this one.
A good description, for those who have not tried it, of the Volley and Bayonet Road to Glory scenario generator, as much fun for a group of six as it is for a solo player. Bruce
