Hi everyone. Keith maintains a fantastic supportive blog for VB, but I see no link to purchase. Test of Battle, which was the commercial home, does not seem to link to VB anymore. Is it still in print? Bruce

Thanks, Tim!
I could not get this to let me checkout, or even register. It did let me add to the cart, but that's as far as I got. The PayPal link does not work. So, it may only be found on EBay at this point, but I may PM Keith on his blog and see if he can help. Bruce

I have a a set of VnB rules which I don't use, except that about 10 to 12 years ago I had a bit of a brain fart and separated the pages from the cover. I placed the pages into clear plastic sleeves and put them in a lever arched folder. I also cut the cover up to make a label for the said folder. More fool me.

We all do stuff like that - hang on to those Mike! Is it the Road to Glory edition? There is much to like about these rules - and good news. I heard very quickly from the folks at Test of Battle, who are experiencing a vexing server problem which has rendered their site temporarily unusable. I am purchasing V&B direct from Jackie, a Test of Battle site manager, using PayPal.
Thanks also to Keith (TWR) a Forum member who gave me advice - and who runs a great V&B resource website. After my Age of Eagles playtest, I will move on to V&B, a versatile rule set which can be used for ACW, Franco-Prussion, AWI, 7yrs, etc. Bruce

Found the V&B rules, not sure if its the Road to Glory version, just can't recall the cover. Publish date for my rules was 1994 by GDW. I also downloaded the official rule modifications from Keith McNelly in New Zealand (http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/mcnelly/vbg/vnbamd.htm) He also had 8 pages of FAQ's with a other V&B articles. After reading the rules last night, I decided to keep them as they are, allowing me to play on a games tables, as I've gone for the Command & Colours system, in Napoleonic's, ACW, ECW and now the Great War, all with miniatures. Excellent, Mike! Glad you are giving them a go. Keith is indeed the main man for support on this, re your original version, updates, and all things V&B. Mine are already in the mail, prompt service. I think these rules are accessible and enjoyable and I too like the fact that they can be used for more than one era.
Lets report back after we try em out! Regards, Bruce
