Very nice once again and thanking you for posting these links! A question for you. I use the same Austrians whether its 1805,1809, 1814, will likely use them for the Italian campaigns as well as I am not that fussy for gaming. Have you painted different armies of one nation to match characteristics of different eras? How many different nations have you painted? Bruce

I'm glad they are of interest. I reluctant to post too many links in case they aren't of interest, but feedback has been positive.
As to Austrians I use the Austrians for 1809 and 1813/14 and are based as massed stands. In Volley & Bayonet 1805 Austrians are on linear bases which aren't as deep. One of the locals has a really clever basing system which allows him to use the same stands for 1805 as well as 1809 onwards. I should have done this as well, with hindsight.
I used to base my stands with less figures per stand. However, a few years ago I started rebasing with more figures per stand. As a result of this slow rebasing project my Russians and British are only partly based. The French, as well as many French allies, the Austrians and the late Prussians are rebased. They armies are just much smaller than they were! I also have ACW completed and FPW French partly done.
A few locals have a range of other armies so we can place a few different armies on the table at our regular multiplayer games. In this one I provided the French as well as an early Saxon Division (linear) for the Prussian player to bulk out his 1806 Prussians which he is still painting.
