Awesome! Really get the feeling they are in the fields at Quatre Bras. How did you create the grass standing tall like that? Also what mm is the static grass?

The static grass is actually a railway scenic mat I bought in Germany a few years ago could be silflour or noch but couldn't swear it was either. I basically cut strips to fit the base and glued these on. It seemed a better approach than gluing tufts. A static box may have been another approach but I haven't bought one of these yet. Also I'm not sure how effective it would be with longer strands.These strands are about 5-6mm in height.

Very nice Mark! Using a static box is not very good at anything over 4mm long in my experience, especially if you have already mounted the figures on the base. You are better of making tufts in this situation.
