Hi Guys
Here is a scenario I have just about finished based on General de Brigade rules. Hope you enjoy.
Belgium 1815.In the early morning of 15th June Napoleon’s army had crossed the river Sambre. By 4am elements of Prussian Pirch’s 2nd Brigade from Zieten’s 1st Corps had been attacked. Zieten had been ordered to observe any possible French advance but to conduct a fighting retreat if opposed by overwhelming superior forces. By 11am Pajol’s advanced guard combined with Young Guard troops had pushed the Prussians out of Charleroi. Up to this time Pirch’s troops had been involved in slowing down the French advance including contesting a number of bridges around Charleroi to allow the remainder of 1st Corp’s brigades to withdraw in good order. It is at this time Blucher ordered Zieten to concentrate at Fluerus. In order to gain time for the rest of the Corps to redeploy to Fluerus Pirch’s brigade (6500 troops) was withdrawn behind the river at Gilly and deployed on a plateu looking over the river so as to slow down the French pursuit.
Grouchy with Pajol and Excelmans’ cavalry brigades had been given the task of advancing against the Prussians. He reconnoitered the Prussian force before him, and assumed it around 20,000 men over twice its actual size. He sent off ADCs to find Napoleon to get instructions at 16:00.
Napoleon decided to take over from Grouchy and together with an escort of Empress dragoon cavalry headed for Gilly. He arrived at 16:30 quickly determined the number of the Prussian force before to be around 10,000 and chose to attack. Vandamme’s Corps arrived at 17:00, having been delayed during the opening phase of the campaign and been marching since 6:00 that morning. The 11th Division was ordered to attack in 3 columns of 2 battalions in a frontal attack against the Prussians preceded by an artillery barrage from 2 foot batteries of artillery. Pajol was to support the frontal attack, whilst Exelmans’ dragoons supported the attack with a flank attack from the right. By the time the French assembled Pirch received orders to conduct a fighting retreat. The battle began at 18:00. After the initial artillery exchange the infantry attack bogged down. Fearing that the Prussian force would withdraw in good order, Napoleon ordered Letort to launch a frontal attack with Empress Dragoons. General Letort, was killed trying to persuade the ex-Berg troops from the 28th Fusilier regt. to re-join their former allies. His death led to the Empress Dragoons charging the Prussian square successfully and causing heavy casualties to avenge their commander’s death
After numerous cavalry charges and Pirch’s brigade managed to extricate themselves from the field of battle largely intact. They had successfully delayed the French advance which could have caught the rest of Zietens’ corps disorganized at Fluerus and impacted on the outcome of the encounter at Ligny.
This scenario starts with the commencement of the French artillery bombardment and the advance of the French infantry at 18:00. It ends at 21:00. 12 turns of play.

Note I have reduced the numbers of French troops to those involved in the fighting. You could beef up the French Cavalry forces should you so wish. I haven’t play tested it yet so not sure if this would totally unbalance the game.
River is passable but incurs movement penalty.
