Now then,
I have kind of settled on BP as my Napoleonic ruleset of choice (although not had a game yet). It seemed to be what I was after, fairly straightforward and its been described as a "toolbox" set of rules by some. That means I can make up stats etc for the armies, using the guidelines set down in the book. Has anyone played the game using 6mm?

Hi Steve,
No I have never used them. I have read some reviews on them when I was looking for rules and they look quite civilised.
“Black Powder is a game for militarily inclined gentlemen with straight backs, bristling beards and rheumy eyes that have seen a thing or two”.
Sounds like a pretty good description of me!

I have heard of BP but don't know anything about them - I would welcome your thoughts after a game

Hi, we used BP at our last club session, grabbing a GdB scenario for Eckmuhl. We certainly think that the rules worked and any issues we had were more from the scenario like having brigades that were too small. It would be great if they could produce another add on book covering the Russians and Austrians.

Another set I need to keep an eye on. I know a few who have said it works with 6mm
