They look good I see they have gone with a much smaller footprint, It will work well with larger ratio battles like waterloo and leven buildings are great for a more detailed battle like hougomont, and la hay saint both of wich would be good standalone games. Will keep an eye out.

Emailed them and they are on the web - but not on the front page as I type which is why I emailed! www.totalbattleminiatures.com/bigbattalions/6mm/100days.htmlQuite a lot of stuff, I don't think I will be able to resist Ligny Chateau, will get Hougoumont too for larger scenarios with Leven model for attack on Hougoumont scenarios. Will have to take care not to over order as just getting all the Leven buildings done and don't want another mound! Steve

This lot will really please the guys who have just invested in Blucher and it's 100 days card set!! Well done Steve, I looked at the home page this morning and there was nothing new there. They have still not put a link in from the Big Battalions page yet though.

He said he wanted to check it was all up properly - I spotted one village actually had a windmill for the photo. Will put messages on lots of forums once her has done that (and then links from main ages too I expect).
does anyone know if there was much fighting at Ligny chateau and where it was (in Ligny?). I can't imagine not getting it but more likely to be early if it was part of the fighting (I suspect it was as I found a print with id heavily damaged after the battle)

The beauty of the farms etc is that they aren't modelled full area size but have been cast with a reduced footprint. They can be used in large scale battles and represent a "more correct" footprint They will also work brilliantly with 10mm figs and possibly 15mm. We already use 6mm buildings in our 15mm games.

I think that Ligny is actually in France?
This is the one in Belgium - and I have no idea where the Chateau was?

Think I am going to end up with both the Leven and the TBM versions - one for a big game and one for smaller actions focused on the various parts of the battlefield. It is really very hard to resist them both as they are so wonderful looking.

They do look nice and will be great for those wanting the smaller footprint.
I will wait till I see them in the flesh before committing to any of them as I have the regular TBM ones as well as some Timecast and a whole lot of Leven

Hi All,
Just joined the Forum. I'm available to answer all questions you might have on the 100 Days Range or any other of our Ranges.
Firstly I will answer the Ligny Chateau/Castle Question. The Castle and it's surrounding buildings were situated South West of the Town in what is now fields. If you look at Google Earth the Lake in that area was just being dug at the time of the Battle and is a huge hole in the ground. Nothing is left to mark it's place not even a Brass Plaque. If you look at old maps of the Battle you can often see a a slightly separated quarter to the town, this is the Castle area covering the chateau and the surrounding buildings we have portrayed. It's the part of Town that faced the French Attack and Napoleon ordered it completely destroyed after the battle only a few walls and collapsed Tower remained.
It was a particularly difficult building to get images of with a watercolour painted of the whole of the village with the Chateau Towers to the right of the image the lake digging to the left and in front of it and Ligny flowing away to the left of the Chateau, so this would be looking Eastward. Another image was a pen an ink of the tower side of the chateau and a third was in the courtyard showing the gate and the Chapel Tower.
Sorry to prattle on, but I hope that covers that question.

Welcome Peter. The buildings and the bases look wonderful.
One question, are they to the same vertical scale as your earlier 6mm builidngs for the naps? - I like their height a lot and think they go well with my Adlers. If not could you give me a vertical dimension on any of the buildings so I can judge how well the Adlers will fit.
Thnaks Richard

Hi rct75001,
I would say on the whole they are slightly less. In order to get the farms not looking too tall I had to reduce height slightly and so the buildings fit with the farms they are the same. I wouldn't call it a deal breaker, but if your unsure tell me a building you want measuring and I'll get back to you.
Regards Pete

Maybe easiest woukd be ground to the trim at boundary of ground and first floors (just above gate) on the hougomont building with the gate that was facing the frebch attack. I'm looking at getting many of these - the bases set them into a new league. Thanks Richard

Hi Richard,
On the Southern Gate House Block of Hougoumont: top of base to centre of stone ledge above gate that runs the length of the two storey building 14mm, top of base to two storey roof line 21mm, top of roof of two storey building from top of base 32mm. The base at this point is around 2mm, so add that onto the measurements given when measuring from table top. Is that enough information?
Regards Pete
